Obtaining a sewer scope prior to purchasing a home is one of the most cost effective ways to protect a new home buyer. Repairing a sewer line can be expensive, you can expect to pay up to $18,000 or more during a major project. This places a lot of pressure on getting a high quality examination of your sewer line before things escalate too far.
Sewer scopes are available for all cities surrounding Portland, sticking in Oregon. We currently schedule sewer scopes in Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Portland, Gresham, Oregon City, Lake Oswego, and everything in between! Washington services are coming soon.

What do we normally find during a sewer scope?
Things found during a sewer scope can vary quick drastically. From the lowly cobweb to an all-out blockage. Many of issues found during an inspect arise form the type of material used to construct the sewer line. Metal corrodes over time, for example.
The most common type of problem found in concrete pipes is when the materials that make up the pipe, rocks and pebbles, begin to have the binding agent between them corrode away. When this happens it is often called “exposed aggregate.” When the rock and pebbles begin breaking away, water will carry them down the line and eventually a sewer blockage forms. Not only that, your piping is breaking down and must be repaired.
